Super concentrated detergent. Clean your hair and body (a tiny dab will doya), once a week, to remove all the buildb-up of perfumes and added garbage which is in most shampoo's and soaps. Orvus will dry your skin, so you may want lotion. Dryness doesn't bother me too bad, but my wife can't stand it. I also think this would be a great addition to your Emergency Preparedness. excellent multi-purpose cleaner

This is an extremely usable formulation of sodium lauryl sulfate. By varying the dilution it can be used as a stand-alone shampoo, dish soap, pet bath, laundry detergent & body/hand wash, all purpose household cleaner **OR** as the cleaning / foaming agent in DIY 'recipes' for all those things. It rinses off more easily than commercial soaps or detergents without leaving a residue and does not seem to be affected by moderately hard or soft water. It is essentially colorless and odorless, making it "invisible" in mixtures. Great for carpets and upholstery

Cleaning carpet since 1972. Wasn't introduced to Orvus paste until years later. In my 7 step process after 1st vacuuming then I spread diluted orvus paste over the entire carpet and let it sit for a few minutes so it can break down dirt, etc. Then thoroughly scrub and very slowly rinse with hot water up to 3 times with my extractor until the return water is clear. Then dry. With no residue or dirt carpets are soft and like brand new. And my customers are happy carpet campers. Stan Duch
