Nice little slicer
Nice and easy to operate, but cleaning the blade can be a touch tricky to remove for cleaning. The locking mechanism is a bit stiff, an das it's made of plastic it could be broken easily.
That aside it cuts bread and cheese well, you just have to be quick to catch the slices as they emerge from the other side.
yes there are other slicers on the market, but for affordability and compactness this one fits the bill nicelyRead full review...

not strong enough / hard to clean
Would be better if it was made of metal. When you hold the meat to cut, the facing plastic wall get wavy a little bit and make the slice bigger than the measure it been set to. Very hard to clean.

compact, versatile
This is a quality product with unexpected safety features thumb and finger guards. It is easy to take apart to wash and store and compact in storage. The thickness control, a star knob and
with the slightest move is as much as 5mm in width. The thickness available is from 1mm to
15 mm and you can cut most from meat cheese and bread. There are many things that need slicing that could be carried out on this versatile slicer. It is the ideal domestic delight.Read full review...

Does the job and easy to clean.
Although I was initially looking for a hand operated unit but unable to find one I am however pleased with this one and it’s operation. I did expect to have a sharper blade with it but it does the job of slicing my home cured bacon. Read full review...

Aid for old age
We purchased the item because our ageing father in law has trouble cutting cooked meat due to lack of grip. This machine allows us to uniformly cut the meat thin enough for him to be able to keep his independence at meal times.Read full review...

Good value for money.
I bought this for my son-in-law. He thinks it's great, as you can slice the meat how you want it. It's a sturdy machine and well worth the price. There are much more expensive ones, but why pay more to do the same job? It also comes with instructions and once you get the hang, is easy to assemble. Read full review...

Not good for thin slices as machine is not capable of thin slicing
We purchased the slicer for cured meats and we discovered that it does not slice cured meats thinly. It only slices quite thick slices even though we set the machine to slice thin the blade just completely missed the meat and would only slice it when it was set at a thick slice setting. Not recommended if you want thinly sliced ham, cured meats, etc.Read full review...

Food Slicer - Good but not easy to clean.
A good compact food slicer.
The only problem is that the machine does not fully disassemble to enable easy cleaning.
The cutting blade and slide tray can be removed but the folding table and cut depth plate surprisingly can not be removed. This makes cleaning far more difficult than it should be.
That said the machine works well and is ideal for cutting cooked meats, bread, cheese, salami ect.
