Great Quality & Value
I was running out of my usual (favourite) shaving cream, so I decided to try another brand. Several review sites gave high marks for Proraso and recommended their hard soap in a bowl. The best offers were for the 3 x 150ml pot bundle, so that's what I went for. I have been using the white pot (Sensitive - Oatmeal & Green Tea) for a couple of weeks and have had a smooth daily shave, with shaving brush and 3 blade disposable razor. The soap produces a thick creamy lather and the smell is pleasant and subtle. Over the years, I have tried foams, gels, oils, creams and soaps, from several manufacturers, and never found any to compare with my favourite but this Proraso soap beats them all. As both products are made with 100% natural ingredients and give a virtually identical shave, the Proraso soap, from Italy, gets my vote for being better value for money.Read full review

This is more like a soap than a cream, very firm in the pot & takes a bit of lathering up using hard water. I experienced razor burn on my chin which I don’t usually get so not sure of the ingredients used. Good value for money pot & scent isn’t too bad.Read full review

Proraso Italian Sandalwood shaving soap is proper old school. A bit more expensive than competitors products but makes up for it with quality. Lasts much longer and makes for a great shave. Excellent Shaving Soaps.
After trying the green soap in a smaller size and being impressed, I have now bought the full set in the larger sizes and am equally impressed with all of them. They smell great, particularly the red, and produce a fine lather readily using a loaded shaving brush directly on the face. A VERY smooth shave achieved with the soap from the green bowl and I can see that it is going to last me a long time so cant really judge fully the full range that I bought. I have tried other shaving soaps but the smoothness and fresh smell of this product is really good. I cant cope with after shaves or any strong scent. The green bowl soap is just right. I like it a lot. Not greasy it does not clog up the razor and also doesn't coat the washing sink with a lot of residue.
