Wonderfully demented and subversive!!!!

Psycho Goreman is a demented, subversive take on both live-action & animated childrens' TV shows and movies of times past. If you're of a certain age, you'll spot references to Masters Of The Universe, The Guyver, tokukatsu, and even some of the old Sid & Marty Kroft shows. Of course, these are mixed with a liberal amount of blood and gore--not something you'd want to entertain little children with. Make no mistake, PG: Psycho Goreman is a hard R. Another similar movie which is more straightforward (but is equally sanguine) is Turbo Kid. PG stars a few child actors who are prominent characters, but this isn't a feel-good, life-affirming action adventure. One child is a mean-spirited sadist, the other is an empty-headed punching bag, and their parents are hopeless dullards. Even the so-called "hero" isn't so heroic. The titular character is the only one in the movie who is honest about who he is and what he does. Some may (rightfully) judge this movie to be misanthropic, but it does take a lot of the classic genre tropes and twists them inside/out. If you ever wondered what it would be like to see scifi kid adventure tropes mixed with a grindhouse sensibility, look no further than Psycho Goreman and Turbo Kid. You won't be seeing anything like this in your typical superhero blockbuster. Kudos to the Canadian studios for putting a new spin on old favorites.Read full review

PG for short

Great, fun, motion picture for the whole family! 10/10 would recommend! Great movie to watch during a long, warm blood bath.
