Probably OK in the right place

This product was as described but didn't work in my specific circumstances. My pump is on a hollow floor and, in practice, I needed a softer mat because this one was hard enough to allow the vibrations to get to the floor and the floor then reverberated making quite a noise. Pump mat noise reduction

It doesn’t cut the noise completely but certainly has improved it. Had to cut it in half as the pump was too big to fit on mat.

I was a little unsure about buying this and I was looking at the more expensive Stuart Turner and other shower pump makes. In the end I went ahead an purchased this. ASBO pump finally calmed down

Ok, the pump isn't silent now, let's be realistic. But it's no longer anti social to have a shower after 8pm. Definitely made a big improvement. Not cheap, but does the trick and that's worth it.
