Thank you puremate, after 20 years of cleaning buying endless amounts of dettol mold spray, sitting in my apartment that was warm but felt like a steam room, I bought your product with sceptism but after 24hours oh my god my apartment feels fresh and condensation free kitchen bathroom bedroom feels so good. I cleaned up before I used the machine and painted my walls with mold paint covered up repainted them. Put the machine on and today my apartment feels fresh and so happy with my puremate. Dehumidifier
Purchased this machine as a backup to another. Although not as quiet as the other it is very good for the smaller area. I own a very old Victorian property with a little damp problem this machine has basically removed that problem. Only down side is the size of the tank needs emptying more often than my other machine.

Value for money
I use it as a dehumidifier only and have not tried out the air purifier part yet. it is compact and easy to use. A little bit heavy for my wife and she reckons the wheels are a little small and drag on the carpet. When emptying it, the container is a little awkward to hold and the lip sometimes catches on the inside, but with practise I find it is ok , a proper handle for the bin would have been a nice touch. Powerful and does the job , a llitle noisy so it comes in handy to use the timer function.

-sucks water a lot.
-doesn't work good under 5 degree Celsius, also says in description.
-a bit heavy, a bit big, but not a big problem this.
-carrying wheels are sensible, wouldn't recommend hitting steps with them.
-water tank could have been built better than this, i don't like the way it closes and coming out.

You ask if it boils water quality so my answer was no. As far as I know de-humidifiers are not intended for boiling water.
So as far as de-humidifying goes it is brilliant. Has made such a difference in my Scottish Cottage which is left empty for long periods and used to smell damp on our arrival. I use it for a few hours after we arrive moving it around from room to room and it is just great. Read full review...
