If I were a drummer
I bought this as a gift so I'm not a drummer but I play the bass and I love all music. The drum samples sound great and the built in speakers delivers this sound well. While I have only fooled around with it I think the responsiveness and the pad action adjust ability will make a great trainer for anyone learningRead full review

OK toy
It's ok to play with but not set up like you'd have your kit. A cymbal between the 2 drums on the bottom. I'd have built it with the controller low center, that cymbal up top so 4 drums across the bottom and 3 cymbals across the top..... A little more realistic.Read full review

Excellent buck for the bang, if you're looking for a compact kit just to play with a little bit.
For what it is, it is quite good.
It is somewhat of a 'fancy toy', so not perfectly precise for that matter.
Very good for someone who isn't a drum player and want just to play a little bit or record something, especially since it controls midi.
The pedals suck, which is fine for the hat, but for the kick it really is bothering (not only there are many missed kicks, unless you attach it to the floor somehow, the pedal will move around a lot). There are many reviews about it out there. Best combo is to buy the kit and a separate kick pedal for it.
The drum pads are quite silent and have nice response , but the volume of the speaker is not very loud. I didn't play it with a band, but it doesn't seem like it would be possible to (at most with just one or two acoustic guitars). If you wanted to, you'd have to plug it into an external speaker.
Despite the review, for the price, it's an excellent buck for the bang. I just wanted to give a somehow comprehensive review. I use it with the addictive drums software that came with the focusrite and it works just fine! I am no drummer, so it is quite nice to play just for fun or to record some simple tracks for your music.Read full review

Drum Fun!
It’s a lot of fun to play. I have yet to figure out how to fix the pedals so they don’t move around on the floor. That’s a real problem. For practicing, and just messing around with, it is worth the money.Read full review

Electronic table top drum kit
My friend is an Airforce veteran and deals with PTSD depression. He loves playing the drums, but had lost everything. Music lifts his spirits, so I gifted him this set. He was teary eyed and very grateful. 😊Read full review
Compact but a great unit.
This Pyle Drum Machine is not a toy.
I like the hand drumming feature and the
many kits available.
I modified an Alesis snare drum stand to
accommodate it and paired it up with
a scrappy little Laney 30W bass amp.
Sounds Good!
Enjoy.
