Quantum Leap: the Complete Series (Blu-ray)

Great series, bare bones set.

No criticism of the series, as I've been a long time fan.
I highly recommend it as excellent family entertainment. Great demonstration of high personnel values.
Mild language and some adult situations.
The disc set itself comes in the standard box like slip sleeve, holding individual seasons in 2 to 4 disc cases, like you would purchase separately.
NO extras whatsoever, just the episodes. Not even an episode listing. The episode titles are printed on the disc without dates or any description.
The picture quality varies, its essentially the same as watching in syndication today. Some shots seem to benefit from the format.
Sound is fine with no new enhancements.
So in the end the show is great, and as far as I know there aren't any home video versions with any extra features, so for now it's the best you can do.

Music's all here!

This release has most if not all of the music restored from the original broadcast of the series. Something Universal didn't see necessary. That's a big deal for us purists! Great show that showcased Scott Bakula's acting abilities! Read full review
