Superb book
This is a beautiful book, even for those not passionate about dolls houses. Large clear photographs of all the rooms with close-ups of special items such as Doulton china, a pair of Purdey shotguns and a 1924 calendar from W H Smith. All the top craftsmen and manufacturers of the day were happy to make miniatures of their wares, mostly working apart from the shotguns which were only 4 inches long, but they could be broken and loaded ! The written content, at the beginning of each new room, is just right - not too long but full of useful information and anecdotes. This book is a treasure to own.Read full review...
