Tricky but worth it..

I bought this kit to use with a generic brand of the Xgrip model from eBay. I measured and cut and tried to install, with no luck.. as it kept slipping out. I finally just slowed down while turning the allen wrench and it tightened up! We take our bike out of state almost every month and this little guy has stayed in its place every time! The only small issue I had was that it would spin from time to time. When that happens I just turn it back and push down at the same time, fixing the issue.Read full review

Not too bad

All in all, not a bad product. Installation took me about 20 minutes altogether, but the mount still pivots nearly freely with everything tightened down as much as it will go. This is my second mount, same issues as before. Won't come out of the stem, but it's obnoxious because the phone moves a lot. Personally, I would use a handlebar clamp if I had enough room.Read full review

Easy to use and works perfectly

Product works with my 2004 Honda CBR600 F4i although I had doubts about the fitment. The trick is compressing the bulb enough to make it snug and further tightening it to max expansion. I had cut the large end off and trimmed to fit the bolt. Would definitely buy again if I had another bike.Read full review

Ram mount for the fork stem

Great product, easy to apply. I put it on my 2015 Kawi. The actual base with the 1" ball didn't actually sit perfectly on the bike because the hole on the bike is too small but other than that it still works and fits in tight.Read full review

Useless junk

This item was very poorly designed. The locknut forces the toothed plastic washer to spin rather than compress the tapered rubber rod. The result is a product that totally fails its intended purpose. Don’t waste your tome and money. Shame on RAM Mounts for marketing such junk.Read full review

Didn't want the mount that came with the original mount so I got the fork mount instead. I like the way it looks mounted on my 2014 bmw s1000rr now I can GPS my way around without getting lost or use it to hold my ipod as I'm going down the road with any worries.Read full review
