Cheap solution to obsolete remote control frequencies
Our 22 year old remotes were failing badly and the frequency they operated on was obsolete. After being told that it would cost £150 to rectify and I might as well have a new system fitted I found this. It took me about an hour to fit (the wiring is a bit fiddly for my podgy fingers) but it works a treat and the 2 remotes supplied with it are really neat and nice looking. I would recommend this to anybody who has a manual switch in their system (this system simply puts a voltage across the switch contacts so you do need those switch contacts to be present).Read full review

The unit arrived quickly and was easy to install.some more wire would make this better when connecting to two openers.
One little niggle I encountered was the left and right channels I assumed were when viewed from outside, however they are actually wired looking from inside the garage. Not really a problem but worth noting .
All in all it’s a great piece of kit and the remotes are tiny and far better than the old “brick” xxontrols we had.Read full review
