I live in bungalow with houses around me, I set it up, so easy!!!!
The picture is fantastic, but!!! Last weekend we had lots of rain and high winds, I was watching a world Cup football game, and it flickered and even went off!!!
BUT
I do recommended it because my signal in the bungalow, because of the taller houses around, my picture on free view where awful!!!

Premium price, nicely made and presented, but only average performance at best.

I bought this to replace an August DTA430 flat antenna whose cable I had damaged. The cable is very thin and not easy to repair as common connectors are inevitably made for standard thickness coax.>
It's well presented and comes with a very long cable, much longer than with cheaper aerials, and with a stand/wall hanger.

Unfortunately it doesn't work brilliantly, just average. With my older antenna I could receive 148 TV and DAB stations including seven HD TV channels. With the RGTech Monarch 50 I can only find 100 channels and none of the HD TV channels are available. I've tried it in multiple locations in the house and it isn't really any better than a plain old "rabbit ears" set top aerial. I'm disappointed as had expected performance to be at least as good and probably better.

I've put it down to experience and found another August DTA430 for a tenner and bought that.Read full review

Different Gravy!!

I live 15 miles from the Black Hill transmitter in Central Scotland... was using an aeriel bought from Asda..and it was a shocker !!..ended kicking it around my bedroom in utter frustration before tramping it to death..now this Monarch50 is a different kettle of fish..sighted it on top of a wardrobe 5 feet from the window with it faced in the same direction as the ones on the roofs outdoors..the result.the stations came rolling in including the HD ones apart from Quest HD which was even a problem for the roof ones..this is a great product no mistake....grab one if you're having trouble with other (inferior) brands...!!!Read full review

In my opinion, the best aerial on the market

This is the best aerial i have ever purchased. It is lightweight and transparent so you can place it anywhere whilst remaining discreet. When I installed and scanned for channels it gave me many more than I have ever been able to receive. There is also the added bonus of not having to pay for power as the signal is generated solely through the aerial. Well worth the money and beats any One For All aerial hands down.Read full review

Best Booster I've owned.

Beat signal booster ever. Can't recommend it enough. Reception in bedroom was always ropey, even with other signal boosters. This one is super slim, easy to install and doesn't use an external power supply.(Stops the wife complaining about cables!!) Can be wall mounted or it comes with a stand. I bought this for an upstairs room to save me putting additional cables from my existing aerial or buying another external aerial. It is about the same size and looks a bit like a plastic table mat. Excellent indoor digital aerial

Ordered this aerial as different make didn't work. This is ultra light, transparent with good long cable. Previous aerial I bought had short cable, needed power, was black and bulky - only got 22 channels, couldn't move it around so took it back. This aerial is perfect, worked as soon as connected, needed no power and long cable means you can move it around. Stand provided or you can stick it to a window, for instance. Loaded up every channel available (200+), excellent reception, very consistent, hardly notice it as so transparent!.Total difference in 2 products - this is well worth the money, very highly recommended.Read full review

Top Performer - OUTSTANDING

I have been desperate for a new aerial for ages .
Having bought a supposedly good one (quite expensive) previously that was useless and unable to get a good picture.
I was a bit sceptical that that a bit of clear plastic could be up to the job.
In the first instance I simply rested the aerial over a picture on the wall and then proceeded to tune the telly.
What a result, all Freeview channels with NO pixilation, fantastic!!
