They have their purpose! For a few pieces of shoe mold they’re great that you don’t have to breakout the saw but if you’re cutting a lot, I wouldn’t suggest using them. Not a reliable tool

Bought this cutter for cutting 3/4" x 1/2" base shoe, first 8-10 cuts were fine but began flaring to one side causing uneven cuts. Then the blade bent...barely finished one room. Don't waste your money unless you are using a very soft/non wood material that cuts like foam.
