Rab C is Govan's philosopher. He is honest about who he is and comfortable in his own skin. This program is incredibly funny and at times brutally honest on the human nature front. This was bought as a Christmas gift, and the tv was so bad we watched and re-watched this whole boxset. Rab C Nesbitt is a man who is free from bigotry. He doesn't care what gender you are, whether you are LGBT or not, he is not sexist, and he lives, and lets live. There are further series to be purchased up to 10. This guest appearances from the stars of Still Game, Taggart and even Dr. Who. David Tenant dresses up as a woman, (Davina) and Peter Capaldi also makes an appearance. Worth its weight in pure comedy gold

What more an I say, this was a brillia m t series over the years. OK you sometimes need to call up the subtitles (my being an ignorant southerner) but once you get used to the Govan accent it is so funny you'll be laughing so much your sides will ache. I think the early series were the best but there are some gems in the later ones too. I love it and watch it more than once.Read full review
