An Imaginative Romp with Smart People Against The System

This book was so absorbing and delightful that I read it all in one day. Even if you are not and maybe have never even BEEN to Vermont, you will appreciate the reaction that the radio announcer had when he made a politically incorrect comment on the air and subsequently lost his job. Hooking up with a shy computer geek, they broadcast many short (but unlicensed) little programs, praising the local sports teams and high school athletes, etc., and giving local news that everyone enjoyed. Becoming incensed about the waste of state funds for the governor's pet project, they devised some suprises for all that took place during the Governor's Grand Opening...which forced them to remove themselves abruptly and relocate where they wouldn't be found by angry and righteous law enforcement personnel. Any more, and I'd spoil it. Read it! Any American who values their freedoms and enjoys a bit of self-sufficiency will find themselves laughing aloud.Read full review
