Rain Man

This is an excellent film.
It portrays the autistic savant and his interaction and involvement with both the world and different people to a very high quality.
Very enjoyable film which is both humorous and with a deep meaning.
The extras on this DVD also are brilliant, giving a very fascinating insight into the research of this film, and the incredible impact that it had on families with autistic children...where children siblings who had autistic siblings who they initially were not proud to call them their brother or sister, but after watching this film, their whole understanding and appreciation for their disabled sibling changed. For some people, this film achieves more than any doctor can do.
