It does work
I have been using rain x for years and it does have it's uses. You do have to take time to apply it correctly and as per instructions and it may take a bit of practise, sprinkling water on application as recommended does help. The treatment itself is largely effective at speeds over 40mph, so at urban speeds won't help much, but on the motorway it's quite effective and you really notice not having to use the wipers as much or at all. How long it lasts varies, summertime it can last for months at a time, winter a bit less.Read full review

Terrible product
I've read the reviews in the past about how difficult it is to apply this product
. Basically it leaves a residue that is virtually impossible to remove. There has to be a better product that can be applied without leaving such residue. So far I've spent 45 minutes to an hour trying to remove the marks after application. Not worth it. Avoid.Read full review

Very short life span in this December weather
I applied two coats of the product. next morning the screen was misted too much to drive. I had not cleaned the screen before application so I did a really good job of cleaning it. I applied a layer and dried it with a hair drier before re applying, drying and then wiping lightly. That was all completed on a Sunday. I don't know how long it is supposed to last but today 9 days later it was too misty to drive immediately. Read full review

Marvellous stuff!
My son had tried all sorts of measures to stop the overnight build up of condensation on all the windows inside his car. Nothing worked so I bought him this. Extremely easy to apply, but do so sparingly, and nearly 2 weeks later his windows are still clear in the morning. I did my car as well but not as carefully and where it's applied too thickly it does show up. Applied the product as per the instructions it seemed to work for a couple of days then disaster, not only did my windows fog up as usual but i couldn't clear them at all as the mist seemed to stick to the screen as it was oily. tried to ash it off but can't budge it. Very unsatisfacory
Works first day but then leaves residue which makes it worse as the car fan is unable to clear the screen. Very bad on the back screen when wires embedded in the screen are turned on. Had a job to remove it with special glass wipes.Read full review

Just what I was waiting for
Product is excellent. I'm surprised I wasn't aware of this product earlier. Doesn't exactly as it says on the tin (bottle lol) I always had problems with misted up windscreens and now this product solves my problems and I don't even need to use my demister switch anymore. Doesn't really make ur windows fog free.
Disappointed with the actual products it's self after the first few days it stopped working and then it begin to fog up the side windows leaving good outline markings around the window. Wouldn't not really recommend. Try using a different anti fog product or just use your AC to demist the windows constantly.Read full review

Works well if applied correctly
Car door seals seem to deteriorate with age, allowing condensation to occur on the inside of screens and windows. This product seems to reduce or prevent misting of glass, provided it's applied properly, allowed to dry on, then fully wiped off, as the instructions say. It may need re-applying every few weeks for best results, but even so, a bottle should last for quite a while. It gives the screen blowers and heaters an easier time as well, especially in damp winter conditions.Read full review
