Worked well on cleaning amplifier controls
Purchased to address the electrical 'crackle' heard through the speakers when rotating the volume and balance controls of an old unused amplifier.
Accessing the internals and squirting cautiously into the control barrels, rotating the controls back & forth to distribute the fluid across the contacts (and then allowing to dry before testing) has transformed the amplifier back to being crackle-free.
The only downside is that of purchase quantity vs amount required for this task - 2x 200ml purchased and i probably only used 2-5ml.Read full review

It was a good idea to get it because I had a PS4 controller with stick drift and I needed to fix it and this didn't disappoint. I may also use it on my guitar potentiometers as they are a bit scratchy on the volume dials and contact cleaner can help with that without swapping out potentiometers with new oneRead full review

Switch cleaner lubricator
Always a useful item when you have noisy potentiometers or switches.
Used it on nearlyevery pot/switch on an oldYaesu FT-757 I am renovating, and worked well on all the pots, especially the volume which gets the most use.
Will buy again when the present cans run out.Read full review

A right little squirter !
Sceptical but quickly convinced , as long as you squirt in the right direction the offending part starts behaving as it should, in this example it was a noisy volume control, dried with an hair drier before switching back on !Read full review

If you own a guitar, you need a can of contact cleaner.
I play and collect vintage electric guitars, any electrical noise from potentiometers or switches is a big No No, so I use spray contact cleaner at the first sign of any problems, it works a treat and really extends the usefulness of sometimes very old electrical parts, a few of my guitars date back to the early sixties or seventies and are completely original. If you think about it, some of the parts have been used and abused for sixty-plus years and do occasionally show signs of wear, some require replacement, but mostly a small squirt of contact cleaner does the trick, without doing any damage, so spray contact cleaner is a must have item for me, along with the guitars of course.Read full review

Works quickly to clear dirty/sticking contacts/ Leaves no mess.
I had a couple of potentionmeters sticking in a radio control transmitter. Replacement cost s £25 each -used! Sprayed the outside of them and the mating faces with this, moved sticks around a few times and left to dry overnight.
Tried it next day : no sticking.. Four days later, still working perfectly..
(no residual mess , no stickiness ..pleasant smell...
Highly recommended.Read full review

Very good value for money in this multipack. Cans are not too big for my liking.
I use it for cleaning my model railway track and it works just fine. It also worked on my old car door light switches.
