Ravensburger Labyrinth Family Board Game Maze 2007

A hit with both young and old

The game is easy to learn. I played it first against my mom, who forgets how to open a new tab on a browser, and she learned it readily. I played it next against my 7 year old son, and he learned it well enough to set it up for himself afterwards, which he did because he wanted to play it some more. I appreciate finding a copy of it that did not have any missing pieces and was still in its original plastic wrapping, since living in the US I couldn't buy the game from Ravensburger direct. Anyway! Figuring out paths through the maze and how those will change when moving it creates quite the interesting diversion. If you have a cat who likes to get in the middle of things, I recommend moving that cat to another room, though this applies to any board game.Read full review

Would recommend for a large age range of kids

I love that this game is simple enough for younger kids to understand. My first graders can play. It is also challenging enough to hold the interest of older kids. My fourth grader enjoys it as well. The board and cards are sturdy enough. I loved that it only took about five minutes to get the hang of. I also really like that my kids could play this game together without constant adult help. Great game for the whole family!

This game is great fun for the whole family! I play it with my 8 year old, and he is able to use strategy to manipulate the board effectively. Great change from the traditional games from Hasbro, Milton-Bradley, etc. Not to knock those games, as they are great too. There are many versions of Labyrinth as well. :)Read full review
