A great party game

I had already had the first one for quite some time when one afternoon my brother and I were taking turns and all of a sudden our dad asked if he could play. Now, you should know that Dad has played nothing but WiiSports since we got the Wii. Pretty soon he had completely taken over and was giggling like a little kid. When I was packing up to go back to school a few days later (I have my own Wii there) he instantly became five and said "The bunnies are going back?"

And so it seemed perfect to get this for him for Christmas. He opened it this morning and just started laughing. We've been playing for about two hours this evening, and even though I like the first one, Rabbids 2 has stepped it up a notch; the graphics, the variety, the costumes, pretty much everything. You can customize your rabbids, play head-to-head (instead of taking turns, like in the first one) and travel around the world. The song/dance/whatever-ya-wanna-call-'em things have added a "dance" element to the original shaking of the controller idea, and Mom was taking pictures of us rocking out.

The only thing we've found so far that's not-so-fantastic is that when you go to a new continent you have to play all six mini-games in a row, not that they take TOO long. After that, though, they're unlocked in the free play menu and you can play whichever ones you want as many times as you want (we played bumper cars probably sixteen times in a row :)

If you don't mind burping, farting, or stupid humor, then this is a good game for kicks and giggles that doesn't require too much thinking. It really uses the WiiMotes, something that I've found other games don't always do. If there are often lots of people at your house trying to play (aka fighting for possession of the controller) with other games then this one will be fantastic, as you can play head-to-head, or take turns with the short little games.

Fun times all around!

Fun, Fun, Fun!!!

We love this game! Our first game for the Wii was Rayman Raving Rabbids. Now, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 is absolutely funny humor appropriate for all ages to enjoy. The whole family has played including Grandma, Grandpa and my 5-year old son.

The game itself is full of fun mini-games in various countries, and the games themselves are usually extremely silly but a lot of fun to watch. I've found that the best time we've had is playing with two controllers with 3 or more people and switching off every so often... because this game can be quite a work out! So, remind your kids to take a break between mini-games. For example, if you really get into it you may find that your arm muscles hurt a little the next day…

Another fun part is that you can customize Rayman and the Rabbids : Use more than 110 items including skins, hats, accessories, and clothes to dress Rayman, and to create your own Rabbid. Unleash your creativity with over 540K customization combinations.

If you have a Wii, GET THIS GAME!!!!

Fun For Almost Anyone!

This game is one of several in a series of Raving Rabbids. In my personal collection I have TV Party, Rabbids go Home and Rayman Raving Rabbids 2. These games appeal to everyone from child to adult and cross genres. They are silly and fun, nobody dies.

The creators of this series have an incredible sense of humour. Even the little cut away scenes are fun to sit through (normally I can't get my fingers on the exit button fast enough!) The cartoon style is reminiscent of Spongebob but with a little more mischief.

This game has a series of mini-games and I have only scratched the surface but considering that the Rabbids series of games are always fairly inexpensive, they are the best value for your gaming dollar. Highly recommended!

Rayman Raving Rabbids 2

As avid fans of the original Rayman game, we just had to have the second one. While the original game has Rayman as the hero, the second game is about the Rabbids invading earth and traveling around. It offers small game units, quick play, at 2 different skill levels.
We played the whole game out in 1 day. My kids love it, it is a great party game when having friends over, too.
It is not a game for avid gamers, you will not find it challenging enough.
It's funny, short plays are great for the kids, though.

Would I buy it again? Yes, keeping in mind that Rayman 1 is a more challenging game and we had at least a week until we had played it out.

Raving Mad Rabbids

Though geared to a younger crowd, this 50+ year-old Wii player finds the game enjoyable as well. Being a teacher, I am able to gather inside information about all the latest Wii games from my students. They recommended version 2 over 1. This game has much to offer. The characters are hilarious, ridiculous, yet adorable; you will find yourself laughing at many of their antics. One of my favorite games is keeping time and beat to popular songs (Celebrate, Satisfaction), and some I have yet to unlock. I would definitely recommend this game for players aged 7-15. Once in the house, older siblings as well as parents will also be putting this one into the console.Read full review...

Packaged VERY Securely

Have not played it yet, but it is awesome how much effort was put into securing the package. It was wrapped in multiple layers of tape, bubble wrap, and the game itself was wrapped. They could have not secured it that much but they did. Very happy :3Read full review...

A great sequel to the first Raving Rabbids

This is a fun game following in the footsteps of the first Raving Rabbids, using the same crude but funny humor appropriate for all ages to enjoy. The basic concept of the game is that the Rabbids are using a shopping mall as a base to launch trips to find out about the world in preparation of an invasion which Rayman must try to stop. The variety of choices in how you can play, the character you can be, and the ability to change how the character looks helps prevent boredom and redundancy. Frustration is minimized by allowing you to choose Accessibility Modes - Easy helps you to get used to how the remote and nunchuck are used, with simple use of controls and instructions (high score are not saved); and Normal for when you can use your controllers well (high scores can be beaten and recorded). Training allows you to choose a mode for each mini-game. It has great replay value in that it is not like the games with a "defeat-it-then-it's-over" storyline. There are 3 options to play the game:
1) Trips - You can choose normal or customized trips around the world in which you play a series of games in a row (Single player is Rayman, Multiplayers choose a character). Before starting, you choose one Accessibility Mode for the entire trip. You also name your trip, choose the duration (by choosing a length of time either in minutes or until all the games you selected are played) and the type of ranking (which affects how points are given to each place at the end of each mini-game - the player with the most points at the end of the trip wins!). You make mini-games available by unlocking them at your destinations. You may later customize trips by modifying a trip you created before or creating a new one.
2) Free Play - You have to play at least one trip before you can do this. You can go back and replay the mini-games you have unlocked on trips, and try to beat your record. You can play as Rayman or a Rabbid.
3) Plaza - This takes you to the main area of the Shopping Mall, where you can choose Character Customization (changing your Rayman or Rabbid's styles of clothing, hair, and accessories which are unlocked when you beat a previous record score in a mini-game); the Shooting Games Arcade, where you play various shooting mini-games unlocked on trips (play alone or challenge another player); or the Jukebox, where you play mini-games of coordination and rhythm and you can showcase your character's singing talent(or lack thereof)using songs you have unlocked during trips.
You can Pause the game at any time then you choose whether to Resume, Quit, or Retry (you can't retry when playing a Trip). Your progress is saved automatically in a data file after each game/trip.
We all enjoy this game. In fact, out of all of the games we have this one has been played the most so far. I feel this game is well-worth the price. (Don't miss the first Raving Rabbids game, too!)

An amusing game for a great price!

It is underestimated that Wii games are less popular than PS3 or Xbox ones. To play a Wii game means to control the game by hand movements that interact with the screen using spatial ability, not your typical button-pushing controllers used for other video game systems. Rayman Rabbids has very funny and wild themes that will amaze and entertain. The game is very fun, a vigorous exercise, and amusing. You'll love how it is also quite easy to play, instead of complicated.Read full review...

Lots of fun. Unbelievable value and discount on ebay

My seven year old son got the Raving Rabbids "Travel in Time" Wii game for Christmas. He was so excited about the Raving Rabbids and their "rude humor" that he checked out Rayman Raving Rabbids 2. This title shortly became his favorite because of the variety of short games all infused with the complete silliness of the Raving Rabbids. My son loves that after a few games you unlock costumes for Rayman, the duck, and the other Rabbids. My only negative comment is that it seems to take a long time to unlock additional games. All and all my son has truely enjoyed this game.Read full review...
