Fun action filled romp and slick pleasing graphics.
Feudal Japan meets wild bill Hickok.
One of the best motion games on the wii ,a real old school arcade feel,and vibrant Nintendo colour.
Game that fully utilises the motion plus,far better movement, response and fluid movement.
Wonderful hack and slash cartoon carnage throughout the various beautifully rendered levels an impressive art-style reminiscent of Borderlands visually.

Huge fun and enjoyable game play....

One of the best Wii games I've played!!

The first "Red Steel" was a poor game with awful graphics and so-so controls. "Red Steel 2" is a fantastic game! The graphics are beautiful and what's most important, the controls are perfect! It's one the few games I played on the Wii in which I actually enjoyed the motion controls and had fun swinging and thrusting my in-game sword using the Wii remote (note that it's one of the few games that requires the Wii motion plus, otherwise you won't be able to play it). Some reviewers on the Internet say that the game is too easy and soon gets boring but I never got bored. Actually, after I finished the game, I was asking for more and I'm happy that the designers added a series of challenges to keep you busy for some time. Great game, if you have a Wii and a motion plus controller, it's definitely worth your time and money (it's very cheap on ebay, you can find used copies for less than 10 Euros).Read full review
