Red Storm Rising : A Suspense Thriller by Tom Clancy (1987, Mass Market)

Masterpiece

I first read. Red Storm Rising when it was first published. I was on active duty at the time and the only copy I could get my hands on had gone through too many readers and didn’t even have a cover. Reading it again. I find that it’s still a page turner and complete with technical military specifics. I being a retired Marine Staff NCO was familiar with most. Fun read. Technology focused.

I love Clancy. Note that Ryan is not a character in this book. This story has good characters, but the real story is military technology, tactics, and strategy.
