More than I ever anticipated!

Let's get one thing straight, I'm no expert when it comes to the subject of scopes. This is only the third scope I've ever owned. That being said it is hands down the best one I have ever used. Eye relief is amazing, at minimum power it was close to 4 or 5 inches and at maximum power slightly less. The clarity is unreal, at 200 yards I can still see .223 caliber holes in a paper target. Compared to my Leopold vxl 3-9 it is twice the scope at the same price. It doesn't come with any lense covers or fancy stuff like that but to me wasn't a big deal as you're already receiving a great value for your dollar.Read full review

good scope

I am a deer hunter ,but I also shoot a lot. At 4xto6x it is a good deer hunting scope. The size is the same s a 3x-9x scope and it fits well on my Ruger #1A. The one poor thing is the eye relief moves an inch when the power is changed. But this overcome by the large eye box of the Rapid Target Acquisition feature of the scope. The Acutrac System of two bias springs is a proven feature and better than a single spring. Cost is reasonable for a scope made in the USA. And Leupold has a good record for repairs. Good buy!Read full review

Redfield (Leupold)

Overall nice scope . Pretty well built adjust easy. Would be clear but received the 4-12x40 Matte Accu Range with oil on the objective lense and on the scope. Really hard to clean lense up. I thought Redfield (Leupold) was better than that. Allso you would think they could supply a pair of lense covers. I guess you get what you pay for. Mine was oily when received new out of box.Read full review

Generous Eye Relief!

The best feature of this scope is it's generous 5-inch eye relief. It's clear and bright for the price point and is highly recommended for most applications, although it is better suited for normal distance ranges, due to its reticle adjustment limitations.Read full review

Good,yet economical scope

Redfield is a durable yet inexpensive scope for the features. I have previously owned these scopes and they have held up well on heavy recoiling rifles. Only downside is the adjustment is more than the specified 1/4 inch per windage or elevation click, in my experience.
I like the 4=Plex reticle much more than the Accu-Trac.

A quality lightweight scope for the money.

I have seven of these Redfield Revolution rifle scopes on various caliber rifles for hunting. There has been no problems what-so-ever. The Redfield scopes have very bright lenses and are certainly easy to adjust. In other words, they are ruggedly built and dependable. All of my Redfield scopes have the Revolution Accu-Range reticles.Read full review

Outstanding scope

I have compared the redfield revolution to scopes that cost 4 times as much. In low light it will stand up to most. There is no other scope for the price anywhere near it. It is dependable as Redfield has always been. Now owned and made by Leupold.Read full review

Redfield Revolution review

Scope is very clear, and easily adjusted into focus. Seems to be pretty solid in construction to me. Redfield is now owned by Leupold, so I trust it's quality. Bought it as a spare and have not mounted to any rifle yet,But plan to do so in the next couple of months. I bought it for it's extra magnification above a 3-9x40. Got a great deal on the internet. Cheaper than the gun stores around here where I live.Read full review

Great Value and Made in the USA

For the price you can't beat these Revolution scopes. Clear optics and well made (should last a long time). My only complaint is that the adjustment clicks are a bit weak but once it's sighted in it stays true.Read full review

Redfield Scope

These are my favorite scopes for the money. They are clear, work good in low light and hold their setting.
