Great hair clipper
Excellent value for money on this hair clipper set. The set has all you need for a perfect hair cut. There's no hair blockages on the cutters like on other brands. Performs like a professional machine, very sharp and easy to use. The cable is not detachable and has no battery built in which is a great plus in terms of the prolonged life of the machine. I had others that costed triple the price of this one but could not even get close to the performance of the Remington Colour Cut. Highly recommended!Read full review

If you going to cut hair for 3 mins. Then it's fine. Other than that avoid this. I checked reviews for this machine which highly recommended this. Now after buying an using I want people to know that the #Remington #HC5035 is not a machine I would recommend anyone to buy. The fast feed is barely effective and the combs aren't easy attachments. The scissors is almost blunt. The comb feels cheap. If i can recommend a machine I would say a #Wahl.Read full review

Great clippers
As many others have, I bought these for the lockdown with a little trepidation about using.....then......number two back and sides and number 4 over the top, tidy the back and neck with no guide and the clippers turned around......done!.......as easy as that.....hair cut! Not bad for a first time clipper user.
The clippers feel good quality (for non professional use) are very quiet and vibration is limited.
Although I will be at the barbers again no doubt but.....in theory another 4 hair cuts and these have already paid for themselves.
The set comes with lots of coloured comb attachments although I only need two of them.......also comes with a standard comb and a pair of scissors (not the best quality scissors) but not needed anyhow.
A zipper bag to put everything in would have been a nice addition. But I bought one easily from eBay ok......

This is fine. It is as inexpensive as they come, this was a very good price, it IS easy to use, doesn’t seem noticeably under-powered (which is the danger) and I noticed none of the over-heating problems a few others complained of. Perhaps they are dragging a budget clipper through a very thick pelt and expecting miracles! This isn’t intended for commercial use and it says so.Read full review

Easy to use
It is all packet up well. The combs in order of size in there own bags. The blade has a cover for when not in use. And also comes with little combs to clean blade. The scissors I found useless for cutting long hair. But can't fault the razor itself. So easy to use! Read full review

Superb made hair clipper, economical and practical
Can not go wrong. This is well made, good accessory supply and the hand colour code make it easy to distinguish without even looking for the number of the guard. This cuts very well and for the price is perfect.
Have already done a cut and I have done a better job myself than some hairdressers where I had paid nearly two times the value of these. Just in 1 or 2 cuts you are ahead of the barber/hairdresser on costs. No more travelling out commute, waiting for your turn and avoiding that annoying feeling sat in chair feeling you could do a better job only to be lighter a few notes on the way out.
To keep good life I'd recommend buying some oil for them and using after about several cuts later. Already oiled up at first purchase so do not need immediately. Read full review

Cannot comment on reliability.
Pros: Colour coded combs very useful. An even cut. No snagging. You get tapered combs with this product, which are excellent for smoothing between different lengths and around the edges.
Cons: It took a lot of passes to get all hair to the same length. Because it took a while, the clippers got quite hot.
Overall: The pros outweigh the cons and I would recommend these clippers - especially for the price.Read full review

Nice color and quiet clipper
This isn't as "close" a trim as my old Wahl clippers, however I bought these as my old ones stopped cutting (even after cleaning), so I purchased the Remington. I've only used it once so far, bit it was far quicker then my previous clippers, and, I hadn't shaved for many weeks, so had quite a beard, and, lots of hair on my head. I like a close trim on my head and these aren't quite as close as I'd like, but are fantastically quiet, and, did the job well. They did nick me once on my lower neck when using, but we're very efficient. I couldn't believe how quickly I'd actually finished. Just over 5 mins compared to around 20 with my previous clipper. So, in conclusion I'd say for the price, these are right on the money. I've also read plenty of reviews saying how reliable they are. So, if longevity is your thing, then go for these.Read full review

Nice sharp blade and easy to use
It is very easy to use and the colour coded lenth guards make it easy to remember which one I used last time. It was nice and sharp and easily cut through even thick and long hair.
