Easy to use

Ordered when ants first sighted, and put down another brand ant killer bought last year whilst waiting for these to arrive. Ants not seen since, so haven't used these ones yet, though I'm sure I will before the summer is finished. Bought this product to control ants outside kitchen door and it worked very well. The ants died off quite quickly after placing the ant stations correctly.

An excellent product

I first bought Rentokil 'Ant Killer Gel' in 2019, to combat streams of ants that invaded my kitchen in the spring. I placed one bait station in the lobby by the front door (there was clearly a nest near the front of the house) and one beside the waste bin in the kitchen. Two weeks later, there was no sign of any ants, and that remained the case until just last week, when one ant made an appearance. I immediately re-ordered two new bait stations and am now ant-free once more! Does the job.

Used this killer before and it does actually work, my piece of advice is to break open the top of one station and get some of the gel out onto the path of the ants and let them tuck in almost straight away. I did this and in a couple of minutes i had 4 of them getting stuck in and soon after they disappeared down the hole and in 24 hours the problem was solved. VERY EFFECTIVE, you just have to be patient and leave the ants alone to go into the bait station, eat the poison, and return to the nest to eventually kill the nest. The temptation is to hoover or sweep them up but it will only work if the ants are allowed to return to the nest to deliver their poison to the others believing it is food.Read full review...
