Not bad, if you're not a hardcore residen't evil fan.

I will say it's good in porting Raccoon city across and the zombies that go with it. However it's very disjointed compared the game sequel, and the main characters are present in a way, but nothing like the game.

Since Apocalypse is meant to follow resident evil 3, serveral thjings are wrong. Jill isn't trying to find out what happened there she is supposed to be escaping it. Don't know who the hell is Alice, in any of the RE: games there has been no main character named Alice (except maybe that woman scientist in RE2 but she's umbrella and evil). It has always been either Jill Valentine / Chris Redfield / Claire Redfield / or Leon Kennedy.

If you put that aside, then the film is actually quite good, and does speak for itself. It's worth collecting the three in set, and I do hope they make a 4th thats closer to one of the games!

I am a huge Resident Evil fan, and having Resident Evil 2 previously on VHS I wanted to upgrade to the DVD.
There's nothing bad I can say about it, if you love Horror films or love playing on more adult themed games, then I would Highly reccomend the Resident Evil series! I have just bought the 3rd DVD and will watch it tonight!Read full review...

Well worth the cost, a must see.

Fantastic film for all. Alice is in a heart-pounding race against time, trying to keep the team she gathers safe from zombies and mutant canines and a surprise.
I bought this movie to continue my collection.
Each film of the 'Resident Evil' collection are each as good as the first, they are well produced with high energy action and great acting.

A deadly virus has been unleashed on the population of Raccoon City. Resident Evil: Apocalypse is a terrifying adventure in survival horror. Milla Jovovich (5th Element, Dummy) returns as Alice, one of only two survivors of the contained biochemical disaster in the first Resident Evil, the $100 million hit that serves as a prologue to the all-out action and horror of Resident Evil: Apocalypse. The film begins where the first film left off, with Alice in the heart of the ravaged and deadly Raccoon City. She has been subjected to biogenetic experimentation by the vast Umbrella Corporation and become genetically altered, with super-human strengths, senses and dexterity. These skills, and more, will be needed if anyone is to remain alive. Alice is joined by Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory – Time Machine, Helen of Troy), a recently demoted member of Umbrella Corp’s elite Special Tactics and Rescue Services (S.T.A.R.S.), Terri Morales (Sandrine Holt – Once a Thief, Happy Hour), Carlos Oliviera (Oded Fehr – The Mummy, Presidio Med), L.J. (Mike Epps – Next Friday, All About the Benjamins), and Nicholai (Zack Ward – Titus, Almost Famous) who must survive and escape what is quickly becoming a City of the Dead. To reach their goal, they will need to battle their way through the relentless onslaught of the ravenous undead, as well as Umbrella forces and terrifying bioengineered weapons, the most deadly of which is the colossal, heavily armed assassin, Nemesis. Also featured in Resident Evil: Apocalypse are Thomas Kretschmann (U-571, 24, The Pianist), Jared Harris (I Shot Andy Warhol, Mr. Deeds) and Sophie Vavasseur (EvelynRead full review...

Resident Evil 2: Apocalypse (DVD 2005)

The reason for buying this becuase i had seen the first film of resident evil and wanted to see the next one. It was a good film but not amazing, it would of been beter if it was abit more graphic ( more blood shed and more scenes of brutial killing) becuase it makes the film more intense and gives the film an extra ew an argh.
if you was to purchase this it would be a very good one at that!!
If your in to your resident evil or zombie movies i would go for dawn of the dead, that is alot better, more gore an killing!!

Not worth it

Personally, I find this film a bit of an insult to true Resident Evil fans. As a said true fan, I find a lot of the film hard to understand and wonder why it even bothered
