Quality detailed model
The kit comes well packed and the hull comes in two half’s . My kit unfortunately was damaged but managed to repair,so make sure you pay for decent postage due to the size of the kit.
So the kit offers a number of variety of colours through the history of the Bismarck and decals but no historical swastika for the bow or stern so you will after buy them separate to keep it in the realms of a authentic period.
The instructions are clear and in colour which offer step by step build .
The kit had some flash but nothing to worry about just additional trimming to do. The detail on the ship is incredible and you after be careful with cutting off the finer detail parts so that you don’t damage them .
Painting the kit you can’t really buy off the shelf without mixing Revell paints so I used Tamiya paints which are slightly lighter but fits correctly to scale and light the other mix of paints in my opinion looks like a toy .
Take your time with kit and you will be surprised has you progress how it comes together and also builds your confidence too.
Recommend items
Revell glue with long nib ,Tamiya quick dry glue. Model filler and Tamiya paint
Xf66 light grey,xf83 med sea grey RAF,xf78 wooden deck with additional wash to show up and lightly weathered deck. The hull I used the Tamiya spray can DULL red .
Other basic colours such as black and white and the others your choice .
