Cleaned up my act

I thought I would try this particular turbo cleaner kit on my 210k mile Peugeot 806 HDi. It's a good runner but was definitely 'coked' up in all the awkward areas to get to. The turbo on these engines is rear mounted, so for the same price as about 30 minutes labour this kit was worth a go....

I checked the instructions online, as I wanted to make sure I hadn't misinterpreted the ones on the bottle! Following them was very straightforward and as recommended by them, I made sure I carried out the procedure well away from anyone who might have been offended (or worried) by the exhaust smoke! The spray bottle worked well and the engine was not affected adversely during the application. By this I mean there was no knocking etc, which there shouldn't be, as you are only sending a relatively fine mist down the air intake.

Driving my car afterwards showed that the Revive kit had made a noticeable difference to the feel of the engine - better response from idle, a smoother idle and what felt like smoother delivery of power. I may well try running the same kit through the engnine in a few months' time, as I'm pretty sure another dose wouldn't go amiss. I would also try it, or the petrol version, on any of my older cars. REVIVE REALLY WORKS. Worth every penny.

Revive really works !! From a Jaguar 2.2 diesel which went into limp mode almost every time it was accelerated hard, I got a car which went well at any throttle opening without problems.I owned it another two years after treatment with no return of the problems. Had been told by the doom-peddlers that it needed new injectors, new EGR and other pessimistic diagnoses. All rubbish. The Revive cleared out the EGR and the turbo, with first class results.
Very happy buyer.
Just be clear that it does need doing exactly as in its instructions, and this requires two persons, one to squirt it at the right rate into the relevant orifice (after air cleaner but before turbo) whilst the other holds the engine at specified revs for specified lengths of time. i have tried revive diesel turbo cleaner on my brothers 2000 nissan terrano 2 2.7tdi and the stuff works but please take your vechicle for a long drive and get the stuff worked through your turbo it does clean but you have to give it the chance to work. ps. remember rome was not built in a day and if your turbo can suck the empty bottle in to your turbo then it is a proven fact that your turbo must be a good one to do this. just saying turbos have such a suck on them. ps. very good product i will be buying some more in the future. mr m grazier.Read full review

I have just used this product on my 2003 Volvo V70 D5 (originally 163 bhp, re-mapped to 202bhp some time ago). For the last 12 months the car has infrequently gone into limp mode when accelerating hard. It's become more and more frequent and more and more frustrating! I Did some research and came across Revive Turbo Cleaner. Reviews seemed positive, so I thought I'd give it a go. I was surprised to find that the packaging did not include instructions on how to use. No problem; quick trawl on YouTube brought back a very informative video. I used the product exactly as demonstrated. The results are better than I could have hoped! Have used this on my range rover sport V8 3.6 after having a few problems with a intermittent fault " engine going into limp mode no reason for this to happen but was abit of a problem I did not know when it was going to happen again .So tried two bottles of this and 3 weeks on and over 1000 miles no more problems, in fact car runs a lot smother and MPG is up to 3.5 more.
