Easy to install - doesn't drain your battery
Found this with the additional instructions supplied very easy to install and setup... to get best use you do need to sign up to gpslive, which for £10 a year is very reasonable, this allows full web tracking of your vehicle although it does take a bit of getting use to the setup and display settings. I can now see my speed and location at any given time which is very useful. I found the item so good that I purchased a second unit for my other car, this too worked a treat. It is worth noting that you do not need to connect all the wires, simply the two, both RED and BLACK to the battery, There are similar units available, but most of direct from China with no support, these guys provide full support and an already setup SIM card, which is helpful. I would advise checking the unit before installation, as the unit has a back battery this is very simple to do, just connect the GPS and GSM cables and setup your account on gpslive entering the IMEI of the device (which is located on the side) and you can see it working instantly. Value for Money
There are some very similar cheaper devices on ebay, but if you want something to work straight out of the box, this is the item every car and bike should have,
The other thing you won't get with the cheap chinese imports is the UK customer service. which is fantastic.
i wired one of mine wrong, and they helped without me having to do anything, and they were able to send the commands to the device,
You won't get that sort of service from an import.
I'm now buying these as birthday gifts for my friends, its only once you've loss a car or bike from Theft, that you value things like this.
