My results with this heater

I purchased this item as a supplement to my first heater. During the winter here, my incoming water is about 50 degrees, and the tankless unit in the RV will only get the water up to about 95 degrees. Not very comfortable for a shower. I put this heater in line before the built-in heater and I now have water as hot as I can stand and at maximum flow from the faucet. Solved by hot water problem. I plumbed everything with pex tubing and had not problems with leaks as another reviewer did. This unit also starts up much faster than the built-in unit, so I get warm water within 10 seconds, where the other unit takes 20 to 30 seconds. I am very satisfied with the results.Read full review

A bit underpowered

The heater was a bit underpowered. I had a 6 liter per minute heater that I've used in the same place for 6 or 7 years. I thought I would get more hot water out of the 8 liter. The 8 liter seems a little less powerful than the 6. I am a bit disappointed. It probably would be a good heater in the summer time where the starting temperature of the water is higher, or in southern climates.Read full review

Works great for the price

I have used different ones in the past and didn't expect it to get very hot being the smaller 8L model. I have a 12v Shurflo pump at 3gpm and it worked fantastic. I get fair pressure along with a nearly hot shower in Florida. If you are in colder weather, you may want to consider a larger model.Read full review

Worth buying

Have bin using this for about 19 months. It is working well but sprang a small leak that needs fixed. NOW .... My thoughts... gas fitting threads didnt match the brass ones at the hardware store. So get ready for that surprise. Then the shower hose is junk! So you will have to buy a good one if you use it Direct. all-in-all I like the unit and it was well worth the money. Read full review

It works great so far dont count on shower head the seals leak plumbers tape and washers

works good so far but the shower head that comes with it is a leaking joke with plumbers tape and washers. I would not even include this in the package because I doubt you will end up using it. FYI
