A Solid Purchase
The product seems well built to withstand the weather. I'm in Boston where the temps have been in the 20's and the camera seems to handle it just fine. I also like the extras (shims, cover) that are included. Especially since there seem to be plenty of the items for sale on eBay. If you don't have existing doorbell wiring to connect the unit to, you might think about purchasing an extra rechargeable battery. It can take 8 hours or so to charge.Read full review

All is well with replaced unit.
First doorbell (refurb) did not work. Hardwired to 16 volt AC, but trickle charger did not charge the battery. Battery dropped from 100% to about 60 % in 24 hours wih motion detection off. Happened several days in a row. After two sessions with Ring tech support (6 days apart) , they sent me another (refurb) unit. Support people seemed to be very accomodating. All is now well. I think I am going to be happy with Ring but time will tell. Read full review

Make Sure To Get New Batteries
Product is great just batteries are trash. If your not buying from a major retailer do yourself a favor & buy new batteries just in case. I was told batteries are supposed to last 6-12 months mine lasted a week. Read full review
