should have been so easy

could not figure it out, my husband can wire a whole house, yet this doorbell wired by ring did not work. Had it totally hooked up to a transformer and a chime and the phone, but it still didn't work. He went on you tube for more instructions and contacted the company, not working! not sure what we are doing wrong but if it's this hard to hook up it's definitely not worth the money.Read full review

Good Price & Easy to Setup

For the outside installation, it took a bit of doing to correct for the slant of the cedar siding since I fashioned the modification myself. It was still a pretty straightforward process. The unit links up easily with Alexa and iDevices through 2.4GHz WiFi. As the price is right, I have since bought another 2 units to use for indoor surveillance. Bell transformer must be greater than 10 volts

Warning even though it states that your bell transformer low end is 10 volts it must be higher. After upgrading my bell transformer it took about 15 minutes to install and perform the walk through. May be buying another one.Read full review
