It's a lovely peice kit

Can't really pick fault with it. Cool retro style without looking try hard. Goes up to a reasonably loud volume without distortion. Super easy to use. Sets itself up. Only slight criticism is its not chargeable but does come with mains lead. Takes 6 c batteries.Read full review

I recommend going for a refurbished radio. . .

I thought about it for some time as I didn't want to commit to a radio that had too many cosmetic flaws. I intend to keep this for life so want to love it but equally don't have lots of cash to spend. I don't know if I was just lucky or if the flaws are minor on all refurbed Roberts Radios but I am so pleased with mine. It's really easy to use. The sound is a little tinny but it's to be expected.
