Roberts Revival RD60 FM/DAB/DAB+ Digital Radio - Red

Clear reception and good quality.

A very good large Digital Radio made by Roberts going since 1932 and Revival R60 model make. Personally it takes LR20 batteries four very large ones you can buy and I bought two packs of six to last me for three times over. Enjoy carrying into a different room to suit my mood. When they go I shall plug it into the mains. Being a decorative novelty radio of the Union Jack , like it very much. Roberts do this model of Cath Kidson if your a fan of her products, but personally loving the Union Jack, love the design radio. There's so many stations to choose and being a digital to can change over to FM at a touch of a button. The reception is very clear and the quality is excellent sounding. Amazing Radio

I love everything about this radio the retro looks, the sound quality is second to none, the operation of the radio is easy and fun. The reception is spot on.

The only down side with these Roberts radios is that the strap is designed to rub against the body and it rubs off the covering (which looks like leather) so you end up with a tatty radio rather quickly.

I was put off buying a new one at they are £200+ so I opted for a £65 tatty one, having used it now I would happily pay £200+ for a new one.

There is however a surprising number of none working ones for sale on eBay so I have to wonder how long it is going to last me.

It does not seem that easy to transfer a tatty working radio insides to a near new case taken from a none working radio, this was my original plan as I assumed the case would be easy to remove.

At the end of the day I have to give it 5 stars because for all of it's faults it is still a brilliant radio to own and best thing of all is that it is totally portable, just don't use the strap, carry it from underneath at all times to avoid your radio case turning tatty.Read full review

Roberts radio rd60 piano black

This is a great classic looking radio the sound is warm an easy to listen to no sharp voices that make ears cringe. The piano black is in my opinion is the best of the bunch the other rd60 have a material covering a leather lookalike that doesn't last very long and is very easy to mark.
