Meet Robin Hood and his MERRY MENagerie!

I enjoyed this more as a child. I remember seeing in at one of my birthday parties in the mid 1980's on those Super 8mm rentals. It was a very short movie clip and I now finally saw it in it's complete form. This old classic is made for an older generation and it doesn't hold up as well and feels dated.

But aside from that, I am glad to have it in my collection of BD's. The picture and audio is fine given its age. I have read many complaints about the washed out look with much filtering but unfortunately I have nothing to make an educated comparison with.

There are some animated storyboards for deleted scenes and many song selections to sing along with. I did like the classic 1933 Mickey Mouse short "Ye Olden Days" with Mickey and Goofy as knights jousting.

Add it to your collection if you are a die hard Disney fanatic. I think it's worth having in high definition and hopefully a young new generation will continue to enjoy this classic.Read full review
