Marooned on an alien world.

This is some CLASSIC Sci-Fi ripped from the history of Saturday afternoon broadcast science fiction/scary movie 50's theatre. It's in color. Has Batman as an astronaut, and is a great story. Ignore the negative reviews. These Criterion Dvds are a scosh more expensive, but, they are quality DVDs. Buy it, love it, add it to your collection. You'll be glad you did.Read full review

Great Mars adventure

I have a soft spot for this movie because I was a child when it came out and has remained a classic sci-fi film for me that I still enjoy. It’s still a great lesson in survival and especially since the main character spends a good part of the film dealing with the psychological effects of loneliness. Even though he’s trained for it the experience is traumatic nonetheless. That makes for a lot of relevance even today, although other than early Gemini astronauts, most crews in space don’t face such challenges. Newer information about Mars though makes some content obsolete. Still enjoyable though.Read full review

Robinson Crusoe On Mars A Great Family Movie

First it is a very good family movie,, it keeps you on the edge of your seat. It shows what could happen if stranded on a Mars. It also shows a deep friendship between both men. And gives a very happy ending getting rescued from Mars
I fully recommended this film for every one both young and old. They just do not make them like this anymore.

Fun early example of What If science fiction from the early 1960's. Loved this film since I saw it as a child.

Remake of the novel Robinson Crusue set in the 1960's. A US spaceship crashlands on Mars and the surviving crew member must learn to adapt to survive. Turns out there are aliens mining on Marswhich leads to danger. Don't look for science but the film is fun to watch. See if you recognize the alien ships from another famous SciFi film.Read full review

A dvd you must get if you like sci-fi films

Old sci fi movie. To me a classic must see. Family friendly. May be hard to find in the future. Get it for your classic sci fi collection. Great story line. Effects from war of the worlds original.
