A Decent Stand, But Poor Pneumatic Air Assist

These are sturdy stands and the locking feature is so much easier than my previous "On-Stage" speaker stands. However, if you are looking for real pneumatic air assist these will disappoint. It is there, but it doesn't do much. These are either sturdy speaker stands that cost a bit more than entry level, or cheap air assists. In either way you will get what you pay for. Speaker stands

Theses stand are just as good and light as any of the top brands for a fraction of the price. The bag is great probably could fix 2 more stands in it . Very solid and well made . The air lowering work nice if you use it that way .overall I give a 9 . For the price I give it 10.Read full review...

Rockville Stands

Nice sturdy stands...but like one reviewer stated, the lowering process with the compressed air could be better....then again, it's better than my old stands with NO compressed. ...the carrying bag was worthless, zipper broke off second use.Read full review...

Rockville RVSS3

The Rockville RVSS3 speaker stands appear to be a good value. I received them a few weeks ago, and am currently using them in a home studio to support 50 lb. speakers. The stands seem sturdy and reliable, and come with a carrying case which is a nice plus. The air lowering system is a convenient mechanism for adjusting the height. I will also be using these stands for my band's gigs. They are lightweight, yet strong. And at about $60 for the pair, they are quite affordable. As of this writing, I would recommend this product.Read full review...

AMAZING SPEAKER STANDS FOR THE MONEY!!!!!

These speaker stands ROCK!!!!! No doubt they are all metal at the main leg connection which rules. Super heavy also, very nice I am shocked about the air lowering is super cool too. And the tube locks into place on its own not some dumb pin that you lose!!!!Read full review...

Great stands at a budget price.

Like many people, I am skeptical when it comes to economy priced gear. But when you need something and you just have a few bucks, you do what you have too. I've been looking at the Rockville brand for a while now, and the quality claims they make and decided to buy these stands and boy am I glad I did. They are built like heavy duty stands costing double this price. Super sturdy for my 65lb speakers. Great job Rockville and I will definately keep you in mind for other gear purchases in the future. Rockville RVSS3 Pair Tripod Speaker Stands

I am happy with these stands, especially the convenient locking mechanism. I am disappointed with the air lowering system. It doesn't lower the heavy speakers slowly! Sadly there is no provision for adjusting the lowering speed. Read full review...

Decent for the money.

Not sure when I will ever use the air feature, but they have been usable. Only complaint is the inability to clamp the leg sliding mechanism so the legs don't attempt to contract when a speaker is mounted. I've only used these with ZLX 15's, so weight is not an issue. Read full review...

Quality speaker stands.

I'm really impressed with these stands. I've been doing sound systems for bands for over 25 years. I've used a lot of different stands over the years. When I took these out of the box, the first thing I noticed was the weight. These are a good sturdy stand, you can feel the quality. Then the automatic locking pin every 6 inches and pneumatic lowering action........I'm sold. I'm ordering another pair. I use multiple powered speakers at times and these are great. The bag is an added plus. You can't beat this for the price. The only critique I have is the knobs that tighten the tripod and extension pole are a little small, so you have to crank them down good for them to hold. On the extension pole it doesn't really matter because of the automatic locking pin, but the tripod concerns me a little. But as long as you crank them down good, your fine. Bravo Rockville!Read full review...
