For the money, this is as good as any high-priced mic. that I've come across. I prefer it to the NT1A as it doesn't have as much treble at the top end, which can sometimes make the NT1A very harsh on the ears.
This however has a lovely flat response that captures the whole sound from end to end. Which for vocals is really important. Like studio monitors: Don't be fooled that you want a mic that makes your vocals sound amazing instantly, you want something that captures all the sounds, that you can then adjust in the mix afterwards as needed with EQ, Reverb, etc.
For the money, this is one awesome studio mic. Can't recommend enough.Read full review
