The Roku Streaming Media Player was somewhat difficult to set up. The remote would not pair. I spent hours trying to pair the remote with the player. The company that I purchased the player from was nice enough to send me a new remote. Finally I configured the player using a wired Ethernet connection to my router. Beware of premium charges to your account during setup.

Roku has become very invasive in recent years. It is not like the early days of Roku. Roku 3 requires a credit card to be entered before setup can even be completed. Not good. I only needed the device for the Slingplayer App that is free. I spent a ton of time disabling all the BS Roku premium garbage that might try to charge my credit card. Eventually, after setup, I deleted all credit card data from my Roku account. I do not like Roku as it exists today. Beware of the setup process and make sure you do not sign up and pay for premium services you did not intend to buy! At the least please PIN protect adding premium services!Read full review

Litterly works like new.

This roku works as it should and sets up in several minutes. The remote works great. The only
fly in the ointment is the fact it doesn't have voice control. This is a excellent product.

It is a perfect streamer that can use all the streaming apps you can think of. No compromises here. It that also allows you to use a usb flash drive with movie files as well.

Perfect for both our old and new TVs

I like that it has both a HDMI setup and a RCA setup it makes it easy 4 both kinds of TVs. We are in the midst of getting a new TV but hadn't gotten it yet so it was perfect.

Pretty much bulletproof

I'm sure the newer ROKU models are great, but we started with the ROKU3 years ago when it was the latest and greatest and whenever we add a tv, we continue with this model. They're cheaper than the new ones, a piece of cake to set up and I can't imagine what a new model could do better. We have four now, and none has ever failed us.Read full review

Great little device with all the features I wanted.

The only low cost Roky that has a headphone output in the remote. Has a micro SD card slot for storing extra channels. It's fast and easy to setup.

Disappointed in my Roku -

The Kirkland batteries in the remote unit had leaked and required replacement as well as clean up of the contact points; the unit was preloaded with a collection of channels which could only be viewed in the USA notwithstanding that the unit was purchased at a Canadian site for Canadian use; I am still trying to sort out how to best navigate the unit; I regret having purchased a used RokuRead full review
