Roland 8" mesh vdrum snare
Very nice rim size, easy rim shots. Big upgrade from the rubber pads, quite with a more natural feel. Thanks

Roland quality good!
The versatility, sound quality and responsiveness are qualities of the drum module and not the pads, however the triggers both rim & drumhead are of good quality and do allow for quick and clear articulation through the (or a) drum module, also the Roland pd-85s are well known for their overall quality build and durability.

What a Difference!
After years of using the stock PD6 triggers the PDX8 feel more like real drum heads. What a huge difference in action and response. I was also able to set up the e drums so they felt more like my acoustic set. Wish I had done this much sooner!Read full review...

Roland mesh delivers
As electronic drums go all I’ve played are Roland TD-10 and this product. The newer drums have a different feel as the TD-10’s and are helpful for practicing. It transfers over to my acoustic DW collectors series, but as a snob that loves acoustic drums it will never be the first choice.Read full review...

Great addition to any Roland drum set
Roland did a great job of engineering this. Once a purchased the correct mounting I think mdx12 to was way to easy to replace the rubber head with this item.

Great upgrade!
I am a new drummer. I play a Roland TD-4KP. Great little V-Drums set. Very versatile and the drum sounds are great. I did not like the feel of the snare pad, so after watching several YouTbe video reviews on the TD-4KP, I decided to upgrade the snare drum to a PDX-8 mesh pad. What a difference the PDX-8 makes. Easier on the wrist, very quiet, greater feel and bounce, bigger playing area, and it allows "rim and cross stick" play. What else could you ask for? Would not be without it.
I just ordred a KD-9 kick pad to complete my upgrade. I am sure it will be just as great an add-on as the PDX-8 pad.
Bought them both on E-Bay at a great price.
Glad I did it!Read full review...

Excellent Drum Pad
I should have purchased the TD1-KV in the first place but did not and regretted not having this wonderful mesh pad included. What a different with the pad originally included with the TD1-K, this is the real thing. Feels and plays like a proper snare drum. Read full review...

Just what I was looking for!
Exactly what was advertised. Very happy with the way the sticks rebound. My only minor criticism would be that the mesh itself is smaller than what I was expecting. Overall, though, it's a perfect addition to my Roland kit.Read full review...
