I guess it does what it's supposed to, not like I dig open the septic tank to see if there are roots in it. I'll know in 3 years

when I have to have it sucked out again. Septic tank guys said use it so I do; it breaks down only roots, not everything else. Told to never use Rid-X because its breaking down stuff will eventually clog up the drain field, and septic systems are designed for solid waste to stay solid so it leaches only liquid/water into the drain field.Read full review

Works like a charm

The first two applications took care of the root problem. The drain lines had never been treated. This is the third application just for Ss and Gs. This product has cleared the lines and there are no problems with the septic system at this point. I will be using the product at least twice, if not three times a year.Read full review

Very good product and it worked perfectly for me. Saved me roughly $250.00 for a plumber to come out and fix what this stuff did in just 2 1/2 weeks. Granted it does take some time for it to work but once it starts working it really does work. Hint if you really want to keep the problem from happening again I would buy 2 bottles and keep the other one on hand because every 3 to 4 months or so all you have to do is add just a little bit into the system and let it sit there for awhile and it will continue to kill off those roots like I had in my pipes.Read full review
