Roxanne, set in the BC town of Nelson, is a brilliant & hilarious adaptation of Leo Rosten's turn of the last century theatrical vision of Cyrano de Bergerac, whose nose wasn't quite that big. Steve Martin again examines deeper questions of identity & ethics through a comic lens; & Darryl Hannah is an ideal counterfoil.
