Best product for overall function

In general, Rubbermaid makes excellent products and I've used them in my kitchen for decades. This paper towel holder is no exception. Unlike many of the more 'trendy' modern paper towel holders, this one holds the roll on both ends. Many of the newer models only hold the roll on one end, which means regardless of whether it's horizontal or vertical, you need to use both hands to tear off a sheet. Most of the time you wind up pulling the whole roll off the holder. This Rubbermaid model allows for one handed tear off, much better in my opinion. Very sturdy too, unlikely to break off either of the arms. Of note (see ad photo) the arms have a roughly triangular piece that holds the roll. Mount the flat part of the triangle facing in towards the wall. This holds better for 'one handed' use.Read full review

WELL MADE AND DOES THE JOB

I do not advise buying any "plastic" paper towel holder other than this one by "Rubbermaid".
Other plastic ones I have bought we almost paper thin plastic that you could easily twist and flex.
Also paper towel rolls are easy to load and remove on this one. It is easy to mount too. Just two screws.Read full review

I have hung these in all of our houses and told friends about them. I have given them as gifts ! I attach them on the inside of the cabinet door right under my kitchen sink ! So handy, and out of site ! I don't like papers towels visible on my counters. They hold the mega roll of Bounty full size paper towels which are the only brand I will use !
