Even as a casual "Phantasm" fan, the trivia, quotes, behind-the-scenes pictures, and interview snippets contained in this film companion intrigued me. The writing itself is engrossing; once I picked it up, I could not put it down, and by the time I was finished, I considered myself a full-on Phan! I cannot wait to watch the five-film series again and learn more about the phenomenal creators and artists who poured their love and boundless energy into these movies.
