Very good Iron
Well, I am very happy with my new steam generator iron. It's very light to use and easy to put on the stand base. It works really well. only used it once so far but very happy with it. I did have a more expensive one which has lasted seven years and had a lot of use. It stopped working so brought this one. If this lasts as long it will be a terrific bargain. Read full review...

Weak steam, poor results. Feels too light & cheap.
It's too light. An iron needs weight in order to remove creases.
The steam output is weak & comes out eventually.
I had a Russell Hobbs iron previously, the Steammaster. That had weight & a great shot of steam.
So i thought i'd buy Russell Hobbs again.
This iron has none of that. They've taken a good product, used cheap materials & this is the result.
I've gone back to my spare steam iron which is far better than this.

Bought the Russel hobbs station steam generator 3 weeks ago. I am really loving it and makes my ironing so much easier and enjoyable.
No need to be filling in water for steam from time to time as the water tank is big enough. Iron itself is very lightweight and glides easily on the clothes.

Pleasantly pleased with this iron- bought to replace a generator iron that cost 3x as much.
It irons well, is smooth and weighs less. The only niggle- you have to wait sometimes for the steam to build up again in between bursts.
