Great basic machine for good results

A straight forward, easy to use bread maker. This is my fourth one! The others all broke down at some stage (in the last 20 years or so). So far, I have only made white bread in this one, but it does it well.
Slightly noisier than my last machine & not as many features, but this is a budget machine & does a good job.

Small, light and does the job.

small and lightweight, mixes well and straightforward to load and empty. the loaf is what I call sandwich whatever bake setting is used, if you want a soft crust everytime this is ok. I used a pyrometer and found the bake temperature was only 155 C so I may use it to mix only and oven bake when I want crusty bread.
That is my only adverse comment.

Good, easy to use bread maker. Follow the recipes to the word and you will have a nice loaf every time.

Replaced an older model from this manufacturer, so well familiar with its operation. The only comparative downside is that the paddle design was changed relative to the earlier model and causes more damage when extracting the loaf from the tin.Read full review...

Breadmaker

This product does what it says; it makes a good loaf, easy to use, simple instructions, compact for the size of loaves it bakes. Good value for money.
One small criticism, the crust even on dark bake seem a little light but does not spoil the taste.Read full review...

U have used a bread maker for some years and find this new Russell Hobbs to be far superior to my old one.both in the features and the quality and taste of the bread

Great works well and very clean like new

It’s easy to operate and has the functions I need. Primarily I wanted to use it for making dough to bake in the oven as I am no longer able to do the kneading. But I’m using it to actually make the loaves as the paddle hole is small it closes up if you get the paddle out when the bread is still hot. Very clean item delivery wasn’t perfect but that was down to the carrier not the seller. Many thanks. Read full review...

Smart, quiet, easy to use and turns out a lovely loaf

Reasonably quiet (some others are quite noisy) and stable (some others jerk around)
Excellent range of menus and settings (not too few nor too many)
Like the case colour (black) which is smart and unobtrusive.
A bit on the pricey side, but still fair value for money.

Excellent bread, nice lightweight machine.

Very lightweight as it is for use in our camper. Made good looking tasty bread from the start but I have stuck to just two programmes. I would have liked more recipes as most are for gluten free bread but it's quite easy to adapt recipes from my other breadmakers. It is a bit noisy so won't be going on overnight but I think it was very good value and perfect for what we want it for.Read full review...

Makes good bread

Makes good bread. You need to make sure you are using the correct yeast (Easy Bake!!) otherwise your loaf will be heavier than a house brick!! (Even the birds & squirrels wouldn't eat my first attempt - wrong yeast used!!) Having got the correct ingredients I found the process easy to accomplish. It is VERY IMPORTANT to measure everything CORRECTLY otherwise it won't turn out right. Cleaning is simple. Process takes a long time to complete but well worth the wait!!Read full review...

Good value breadmaker.

We bought this item for my in laws and they have made three loaves successfully. As they are elderly they don't use it much but they say that it is easy to use and now are using it instead of buying bread. We thought it was good value compared to a lot of other breadmakers that do the same or similar. When lockdown is over we will no doubt sample the delights this item makes.Read full review...

a trusty, crusty loaf

No bread making machine is small and this one takes up a good amount of bench space but the benefit of saving money while baking bread at home is the trade off.
This model does not have a paddle remover option which means that you can expect a hole in the middle of the base of the loaf. Some of the dough may stick to the paddle in the loaves I've baked so far.
It may be an idea to place the ingredients in the pan before locking it into the machine as any spilled flour can go to the base of the cooking space and smoulder.
It's very easy to use with push button menus on size, crust as well as the other items it can produce- pizza dough and jam. A more comprehensive recipe booklet might have been a good idea but there are plenty of recipe books on the market to allow for experimentation.
The alarm to tell you that it's baked is very loud which may be useful if the wonderful aroma of baked bread didn't warn you first.
