Fryer

I only have one concern with this deep fat fryer is you can't fold the handle inside once you've
got your cooking oil in it without the handle laying in oil. Sticking out like it does its likely>to get knocked off or small children could reach the handle and pull it over them selfs.
Other than that its the best iv.e used for quickness and for cleaning.Read full review...

Very poor design.

The outer sides of the heating element in the oil tank are higher than the central part which makes the cooking basket tilt to the left or to the right. It does not sit flat in the bowl. Please read other peoples reviews saying the same thing. I got rid of my annoying russell hobbs fryer and bought a different brand in which the basket sits level on the heating element.Read full review...

Dodgy backet.

I have owed one of these before and it was great. It was a different make but same design.
The heater rails in the bottom, which the basket sits on are not flat and the basket keeps sliding off to one side or the other and if the basket was full of chips, I think it would tip some out over the side. I could not be bothered to send back, as it was cheap and it took 6 days to deliver with fast and free.Read full review...

Russell Hobbs Prof 3 litre fryer in stainless steel

Compact slim design which fits away nicely underneath the kitchen cupboards on the worktop. Easy to pull out and plug in to use. Heats up quickly and is convenient in use. Frees up space on the gas hob for other pots or saute frying pan. No problems found with cleaning. Definitely recommend buying one of these.Read full review...

You can see how the food is cooking so it doesn't get overcooked.

Poor design and quailty

Not impressed with the build/component quality of the fryer. Mainly, why did they not include a stainless steel reservoir/bowl into the design for the cooking oil?
Instead of using a stainless steel bowl, they went for what seems to be a much cheaper lightweight steel bowl coated with??..Is the coating non-stick, teflon??Read full review...
