This stylistic kettle is a gem to own and use.

Very fast boil. Not too loud. Light in weight. 360 degree base makes it very easy to use.
As the first none-corded kettle I have ever used, it is surprisingly easy to manoeuvre in a small kitchen like mine.

The only antis are that the opening is a tad small (I use a water filter jug not a tap to fill my kettle) and the lid being opened by a spring button as being made of plastic, when this eventually breaks the kettle has to be changed because the lid will not longer work.

Disappointing

Very lightweight which is good, but also very plasticky.
Drips when pours.
If I had not needed a kettle and had not bought this from ebay I would have taken it back.

This kettle is very good value for money

What I also like are the cup and number symbols to indicate the quantity of water inside the kettle. In fact, this was the main reason I purchased this particular item; it's so that I fill the it with the right amount of water to make my cups of tea. The kettle certainly boils water very quickly, even if there's a full amount of water inside. This kettle is very easy to use, just switch it on.

Quick to boil

Nice size kettle ,its called Textures because of the smooth glossy finish combined with a matt finish, very quick to boil ,1 cup 45sec , with its 3kw element, its very compact doesn't take as much room as my old kettle which is strange when it holds 1.7 ltrs my other was 1.5 ltrs

Bought this electric kettle. Good item on cheap price. Boils water quickly. Hidden heating element. Cup indicator for 1,2 or 3 cup of water. Very practical ... but slightly noisy

Boils water quickly, can even boil just 1 cup. Has a fine filter in the lip to prevent muck going into your tea. Narrow lip is very accurate for pouring. Slightly noisier than our previous, less powerful kettle, which is to be expected. A good buy!Read full review...

Great kettle for energy saving

One of few kettles that advertises the minimum fill volume which at <250 ml of water allows a significant energy saving compared to most other kettles that have a larger minimum so force you to boil too much water if you only want one mug full. The internal markers are useful for getting the right volume for one or two mugs worth and as I'm 6' I find it more convenient looking down into the kettle when filling through the lid that trying to look at a level marker on the side.
Otherwise a great kettle, cordless, 360 degree swivel base, concealed element and boils water rapidly. It is solid white plastic which I prefer as the walls stay walls than on metal sided kettles so less chance of burns if you accidentally touch the surface.
Must be good, this if the third I've bought. Only annoyances are the little plastic limescale filter eventually falls apart and on the one I've just replaced the sides had become discoloured and the window had started leaking but that is likely my fault for keeping it too close to the gas hob and it must have lasted at least 5 years.Read full review...
