My ideal choice for a great finish

Water based oil

This water based oil is rubbish compared to the solvent based version it is very pale on the wood like its colour, and doesn't give the depth of colour and grain the solvent based oil does. They change these things and say they as good or better when they are not, the only thing you say is it drys quickly, but the finish is poor.
I have used these products for over 30 years, and my advice would be use the solvent/oil based oil every time.Read full review
