Best bang for your buck!
It took a while to actually get the right one, but when I did, I was very pleased with the capabilities of this saw. I bought this saw three times. The first two vendors advertised this saw and sent me a lesser quality saw. I returned both. The third time was a charm. This saw is quite powerful and with the right blade, scrolls very well. I used it to cut out three dimensional reindeer for Christmas decorations. I am using OSB plywood which is a tough material to work with. This saw did not strain at all. The blade saver function alone is worth the price of the saw. With another saw I went through 26 blades (Bosch brand) cutting out three sets. I used two blades cutting out the last set I made. I can't recommend this saw enough. I paid less than $60.00 for this one and it outperformed my $170.00 Bosch saw. If you can find one, BUY IT!!!Read full review

Great saw, terrible chuck.
This is a very nice mid-range jigsaw with one HUGE glaring flaw: the blade chuck only takes Ryobi brand blades without modification. It doesn't take the U shank blades at all and will only take the Bosch T shanks if you modify the little nubs on either side of the blade. By comparison my Black and Decker cheapo corded saw takes U shank or T shank without issue! Some reviewers say the dust blower is weak, well there is no dust blower at all, but that is no bigggie to me, it DOES have a nice LED headlight to illuminate the cutting area and for me THAT is more important than a dust blower. I like the on-board tool storage for adjusting height and angle of the shoe. It feels really nice in the hand and is not overly noisy for a jigsaw. I look forward to many many hours of use out of this saw.Read full review

Solid, though not everything I’d hoped for
Nice so far, great value for the money. I run it with a Makita 18v battery & adapter, which I assume explains why mine has no functioning power adjustment capability. The nice slider switch on the top has no discernible affect on anything during operation. Great other than that Read full review

Cuts well and easy to use.
Works very well. It is easy to cut with Only one problem ,it does not take regular blades. I tried to put my blades that fit my old saw but they would not hold in the saw.

Cordless Sabre saw
Very handy, good power with multiple adjustments for various materials. Changing the blade without tools is a nice feature as is the base height adjustment to make better use of all the blade teeth. Changing the blade can be tricky as you must make sure it is seated properly in the blade chuck or it spits the blade out when you start to use it. Read full review
